At the international exhibition INNOPROM KONAR JSC (Chelyabinsk) and Vecchiato (Italy) have concluded a contract for delivery of forging equipment for a new manufacturing project Modern Forging Technologies being implemented together with Transneft PJSC in Stankomash Industrial Park.

The document was signed by Valery Bondarenko, the General Director of KONAR, and Massimiliano Mancini, the Sales Director of Vecchiato, in presence of the alternate governor of Chelyabinsk region Alexey Teksler.

The modern forging complex produced by the company Vecchiato includes a hydraulic press, a railbound and a mobile manipulator. It allows to reforge steel ingots into forgings up to 8 m and 25 tons.   The main peculiarity of the press is availability of strokes up to 110 movements per minute, and it allows to forge pieces with the highest surface quality.

— Today we have signed the agreement for supply of the forging complex for KONAR which is to be launched next summer. We have been cooperating with this company for a long time – previously we have supplied them high-technology equipment that is being operated at the industrial site, — Massimiliano Mancini said. — It was a special pleasure to sign the document at the booth in Chelyabinsk region because our collaboration lasts for much more than one year, a lot of joint Russian-Italian ventures work here, and we are proud to have a chance to continue our business with KONAR.

The equipment will be installed at the new facility Modern Forging Technologies which will work teaming up with the foundry BVK which already works in Stankomash Industrial Park. It will allow to decrease significantly dates pf delivery and also change to release of products with higher quality requirements.

— We encourage creation of new productions at the region territory, — Alexey Teksler emphasized. — Products of the new facility will allow to avoid dependence on import. Moreover, modern work places will be created.
