Valery Bondarenko, General Director of KONAR JSC, signed new agreements on cooperation with the Italian companies ATP Group and PAMA S.p.A.
In the presence of the Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexei Teksler, an agreement on strategic cooperation between General Director of KONAR JSC Valery Bondarenko and the CEO of ATP Group Giovanni Belli was signed. It is aimed at localization of the air cleaning equipment and gas purification systems for the industrial enterprises of the South Ural. This interaction is relevant as part of the implementation of the regional project «Clean Air» and the signing of environmental agreements between the Government of the Chelyabinsk region and the metallurgical enterprises to reduce the impact on the environment. The new production line of KONAR, supported by the experienced and competent partner ATP Group, will provide a proven European solution using Russian components and systems.
«The agreement with KONAR is to provide technology for the production of wastewater treatment plants – for air and water purification. We are at the very beginning, but we are confident that our systems will help make the Chelyabinsk region cleaner in the future and we will be able to expand our authority in your region. We chose KONAR because it has a very strong engineering department. We have the experience of cooperation on previous common projects, when we faced complicated technical issues and found solutions» – said Giovanni Belli.
«Our cooperation will expand KONAR’s competences at the growing market of ecological systems, provide suppositions for creating new high-tech workplaces, promote the development of cooperation between the enterprises within the region and provide additional tax revenues to the regional budget» – states Arseniy Dikiy, Business Development Director of KONAR JSC.
KONAR Industrial Group and Italy have a long-standing partnership relations. A number of joint ventures is established with Italian industrial companies – Cividale S.p.A., Cimolai S.p.A., Termomeccanica Pompe S.p.A., Orion S.p.A., and the Head of the Industrial Group Valery Bondarenko is a Knight of the Order For Merit to the Italian Republic. He is the first Russian machine-builder to be awarded the highest order of Italy for his contribution to strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
At the INNOPROM 2021 exhibition stand, Valery Bondarenko and a representative of PAMA S.p.A. Andrey Kartsev also agreed on manufacturing and delivery of two horizontal milling and boring machines SPEEDRAM 2000 for increasing the capacity of the mechanical division of KONAR Industrial Group. This agreement is a continuation of the strategic work of KONAR to create a world-class production of high-tech products in the Chelyabinsk region.
