At the meeting with the representatives of Italian business groups Vladimir Putin noticed that the plant put in operation in Chelyabinsk is a “remarkable example of successful and win-win cooperation”.
— This innovative facility of a complete cycle is built according to Italian technologies, and it will produce electric power units of high voltage conforming to advanced standards of energy efficiency and safety, — the President said. — This project is a result of close partnership of Russian companies Transneft and KONAR with the global leader in the sphere of industrial power systems – Nidec (Italy). First of all, these motors will be used in the sphere of pumping of oil and oil product. They are extremely demanded by national fuel and energy complex and will be requested at the markets of the third countries for sure.
There is a demand for company products in other key industries of Russian economics as well, first of all, in ship building. Electric motors are planned to be installed on Arctic class vessels for the Northern Sea Route and use them in process lines of natural gas liquefaction within such projects as Arctic LNG-2, Baltic LNG, Vladivostok LNG, for needs of metallurgic and mining industry, railway transport and wind energy.
I’d like to note that this new facility is the fifth facility in the territory of the Stankomash industrial park in which the Italians participated. In reality, they helped to create the whole industrial cluster where important productions of high technology are localized.
