Technical Director of KONAR JSC was awarded the title Honorary Mechanical Engineer of Russia

Evgeny Bodrov was recognized for his great contribution to the development of industry.

The order on awarding was signed by Denis Manturov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The title Honorary Mechanical Engineer of the Russian Federation was awarded to Evgeny Bodrov, Technical Director of KONAR JSC, for his great contribution to the development of industry, many years of conscientious work and in connection with the professional holiday – Mechanical Engineer Day.

The well-deserved award was presented to Evgeny Bodrov by Head of KONAR Industrial Group Valery Bondarenko.

– I am very pleased that our engineering work was recognized at such a high state level. And this is, first of all, the merit of the whole team of the Industrial Group under the leadership of Valery Bondarenko, who gives everyone an opportunity to realize their engineering potential. And this allows the company to be noticeable, the best, not only in the country, but also in the world. I think that this practice will continue, and I wish every KONAR engineer to become a candidate for such awards in the near future. I think that everyone in our high-class team is worthy, – said Evgeny Bodrov, Technical Director of KONAR JSC.

In 2003, Evgeny Bodrov graduated with honors from the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology of South Ural State University. In 2005, he started working at KONAR as a Process Engineer in the Engineering Department.
He participated in the development and implementation of many projects of the company. Under his leadership, in 2018, RDC-Konar was established which carries out scientific, development, engineering and research works for KONAR Industrial Group. The division successfully participates in complex high-tech projects and solves innovative technical tasks. By order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, it set up the production of a fire-fighting pump made of Superduplex steel within the framework of the LNG industry development, production of the most complex components of large-sized vessel thrusters and pod propulsion systems, new products for the Vostok Oil project, infrastructure facilities of Rosatom, Russian Railways, as well as for the needs of power and heavy mechanical engineering. The only cryogenic test bench in the Russian Federation operates on the basis of RDC-Konar.

Evgeny Bodrov, Technical Director of KONAR JSC, is an expert of the federal projects Engineering Personnel of Russia, Professionalitet, the programs Quantorium, Robofest and other educational projects for training engineering personnel.
