RDC-Konar for the first time organized the tests of fasteners with a load of 140 tons.
The Main Material Science Laboratory of RDC-Konar LLC tested fasteners with a proof load of 140 tons. The tests were performed as part of the contract to produce the parts for the Gazpromneft-Zapolyarye Project.
The finished products (casing heads) successfully passed the control tests, which indicates the high quality of the products produced for critical strategic facilities.
– Fasteners are one of the most important elements in mechanical engineering. Previously, RDC-Konar tested fasteners at a load of 50-60 tons, – said Nadezhda Shumilova, Head of the Main Material Science Laboratory of RDC-Konar LLC. – The force of 140 tons is another achieved aim for us, a new skill, which will allow KONAR to participate in the implementation of large-scale projects. In the future, we plan to organize the test of fasteners with a proof load of 160 tons. The laboratory is ready for this: the equipment has passed a regular verification and the test equipment has already been produced.
